The 3rd Thermi’s Youth Forum was successfully held

The 3rd Thermi’s Youth Forum was successfully held, organized by the Youth Council of the Municipality of Thermi together with the Municipality of Thermi and ActionAid, under the auspices of INEDIVIM. In the modern facilities of the American Farm School, representatives from 13 Municipal Youth Councils (Elassona, Oraiokastro, Sikyonion, Larisa, Lamia, Paggaio, Orestiada, Trikala, Papagou-Cholargou, Kastoria, Thessaloniki, Thermaikos, Pavlou Mela) and 2 Youth Organizations (Polygyros and Alexandroupoli) from across Greece gathered for a dynamic dialogue on youth participation and empowerment.

This year’s Forum was dedicated to International Women’s Day, highlighting the importance of equality and the active participation of young people in decision-making. Thus, 2025 is a year dedicated to gender equality for our Council.

During the two days (8–9 March), the Forum hosted important discussions, workshops, and activities that provided young people with valuable tools for their participation in social and political processes.

• Day 1 focused exclusively on women’s empowerment in decision-making.

• Day 2 focused on active youth participation and skills development for meaningful integration into decision-making processes.

Thermi’s Youth Forum 2025 once again proved our strength and the need for collective action and cooperation. Participants left with inspiration, new knowledge, and a shared vision for a more participatory and equal future.
